Kinda brought about a very gloomy end to what would have otherwise been a rather good year for everyone.

It was a rather good year for me, although I felt that somehow, it wasn't as good as the previous few years. Not sure why, but could be that I didn't accomplish much this year.

Anyways, today's blog is quite a guessing game, dun wanna say any names out, but you all can go figure for yourselves as you read through. Not good to say out the names. Come ask me for the answers, if you dare...hahahaha

Strangely, the thing that first came to my mind when I thought back about 2004, wasn't about school, wasn't about bowling, not my volunteer work, but....was about the turbulent world of teenage relationships, between boyz n girlz...hahahahhahahaha

Strange right? No it's not about me, my status, haha too bad, gonna remain confidential :) It's more about the guys (and their girls) that I've got to known from NY3OC. Dunno why, but I didn't think about such things when I was in XT. (For those of u who dunno...NY3OC...XT... = arcade thingy, ok? hahaha)

Yeah i was thinking about it, no one, yes, I do believe, not a single one of the guys in NY3OC, who got attached in 2004, managed to keep the relationship going for more than a year. Seems like the only ones who managed to, are those who had the relationship since a long time back, before 2004. I think that's only one guy? hahah congrats to that one person!

Some have had numerous relationships during the year (I consider 2 or more relationships in a year to be numerous hahah). Some had a try with one relationship, but ran into some problems. And others were desperately trying to get themselves hooked on to one, but still akan datang.

Along the way, I seemed to have given advice to many of them. Some genuinely asked me for advice, and some, well, haha I KPO a bit so gave them my opinions :)

Unfortunately, most advice isn't taken, and then, well, not so pleasant outcomes occur. Most give silly excuses to cover up for their faults, but there are a few who take time to think through what had happened, and try to make sense of things. Not to say I'm some Aunt Agony or counsellor or what, but I believe, some things, which are common sense, are easily forgotten at the sight of the opposite sex :)

As I am writing all this, well, OK, other than relationship problems, most also had issues with their school work, though it pales in comparision to issues with their girls :P

As usual, there are some who cope well, some who failed a module here and there, and some, well, who realized that they made some wrong choices along the way and don't seem to enjoy what they are doing.

So in the midst of giving advice, and watching them handle their issues, I managed to find a common trend amongst most of them:

1) Set out towards their goals (be it girls or school work) with certain hopes and expectations
2) Start off reasonably well
3) After sometime, get a bit lost, and stumble horribly (either a break up, or failed module)
4) Learn some important lessons

Step 5?

Some learn from thier mistakes, and learn not to get burnt twice, but some, just like to jump back into the frying pan again...hahaha

Strange isn't it? After being burnt, they wanna get burnt and burnt again, like having more lives than a cat. Maybe that's just part of growing up? But doesn't it hurt to get burnt so often? Not to mention that it hurts others who are directly affected too?

Haha I can think of at least three people who fall into that category.

OK OK enough of mudslinging at these people :) There are others too who did well. I enjoyed IRCing and MSNing with many of them, sharing thoughts and experiences. I'm sure these people know who they are.

Anyways, today is 1 Jan 2005, hope the new year goes well for everyone!

Merry Christmas!

Hi hi yes, I'm blogging on the morning of Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas to one and all :)

Funny, this year I didn't feel like staying out late on Christmas eve, came back at 2am. Might not seem early to some people, but that's quite early for me though, haha...

Christmas seemed rather empty this year, with only a Chirstmas eve party with the NY3OC peeps at Alex's place. Well I was supposed to meet them earlier in the afternoon at Atrium, but I was kinda lazy, so I just went directly to his place at 5pm.

The party wasn't too bad actually, had a pizza hut / KFC dinner, some idling around, watching TV, exchange of gifts, and some games, with a little bit of drinking :) Actually, I think the best part was the gift exchange, seeing all the funny surprises that each of us bought. I got Channon's Evo7 car model, kinda like a super big Matchbox toy car.

Come midnight, most of us opened up the other presents that we received too. I was quite surprised by the number of gifts I got. Thanks again to one and all who bought gifts for me, definitely won't forget some of them, like the Spongebob Squarepants hang-on-the-car-window thing from Ryo :P

To those whom I bought gifts for, hope you like them too, sorry if I got T-shirt sizes wrong, or gifts that you all already have...haha...kinda bad in choosing presents.

Ah Sad bought quite a bit of liquor. They were meant for playing games, but some of the die hards who wanna get people drunk took most of them, with some in the process getting drunk themselves..ahaha...so how does it feel not being able to walk in the direction that you want? :P

But most of the peeps managed to control themselves, got a little high, but not drunk. At least that keeps the fun around, rather than having to run somewhere to find a place to puke. Those guys like Ryo, SJ, Shini, TMR, and some others, well done on not getting drunk (unless of course, you all got drunk after I left? hahaa)

At around 1.30am, I sent Channon and Mutu (who was quite very drunk?) to Orchard to meet some of their friends. Orchard Road was crazy at that time of the morning, still a lot of people, but most trying to catch taxis back home. Certain stretches of road were full of rubbish from the party goers.

When I got home, my parents and my brother were still awake, I guess that's why I didn't stay overnight, wanted to see my family on Christmas Day. Although now, part of me is still hoping to be with the rest at Alex's place, but then, I see them so often every week, so I guess I should have more time with my family too. Hopefully I won't be too late for church tomorrow morning as well, to make some sense out of this whole Chirstmas season.

I'm still wondering what I'm gonna do after church tomorrow. If everyone's busy with their own things, it's gonna be a rather boring day.

Maybe I'll go log into Cronous now, wish my other online overseas friends Merry Christmas over the game :)

As for you all, my faithful readers, have a wonderful and meaningful Christmas!

My Christmas Wish

*Yawnz* again....

Had to wake up this Sunday morning to go for my school bowling roll-offs, for the IVP in February. Haha I shouldn't be complaining, it was to start at 12pm, and that's a good time too. However, the bowling centre management screwed up, and we only started at 1pm, as this cosmic bowling event (in the day time?!) started late. Furthermore, the bowling centre staff today were rather screwed up themselves, insisting that we didn't book the lanes at 12, and charging us rates other than the quoted ones.

Didn't do as well as expected for the roll-offs, I was hoping for a 195 average, but did only 187. Hope to do better in next week's second session.

Anyway, since the session today ended late, the few of us who were going for KK's BBQ went straight after having a late lunch. Not bad, had the chance to meet up with the older bowlers, some of whom I haven't met for quite awhile. Just in time for Christmas :P

When I got home, I heard about a Christmas eve gathering with the NY3OC people. Somehow, I wasn't too excited about it, especially when they talk about the alcoholic drinks and all that. Really, what's the kick? But the gift exchange and dinner is a nice idea, so I'd probably come by for that.

Comparing the lives of my bowling friends who have graduated, and the NY3OC peeps, there's such a stark difference. Once out of school and into the working world, we seldom have time to catch up with one another. When we do, like at today's BBQ, it's good fun catching up with all the latest happenings.

As for the NY3OC group, most are in school, though not all. The common thing among us is our liking for arcade games. Arcade games are fun, good ways to enjoy too. A few of us have our own activities too, like Mutu and his ODAC to keep him busy most of the time :) But most of us, seem like have nothing to do but hang around the arcade all day. After school, the next place to drift to would be the arcade, and hang there until it closes.

I really hope for these guys/girls, that they do find something else to keep themselves occupied with as well, in addition to playing games. Find something meaningful to do.

When you get older, reach your mid 20s, when you look back at your life.....

Are you gonna think thoughts like
"wow, ODAC was great fun, no regrets joining that CCA"
"I'm glad I learnt driving when I had the chance, no need to hassle with that now"
"School life was great, good to have graduated with a great bunch of friends"

or

Are you gonna think
"I should have done better at my studies, I can't get anywhere with this lousy certificate"
"I'm so busy working now, no free time for anything. I should have made better use of my time when I was younger to learn something / take part in some event that I have no time for now."
"What WAS I doing with my time when I was 18?"

Come on friends, don't deceive yourselves. All of you have finished secondary school. Some of you are working, some studying, and some not doing anything. Everyone is a step close to adulthood. A time to be independent, something that all teens fight for when they are younger. You're getting nearer to achieving it. But can you handle it?

It's been great getting to know all the NY3OC people. Live your lives now to have good memories, not bad regrets. That is my Christmas wish for you this year.

Christmas is coming!

Finally got down to doing some Christmas shopping today. Actually, I managed to get almost all the things I wanted, except for one more present, which I have to try and get it soon.

I think I'm not a very good person to shop with, especially when I'm the one looking for things :) I dragged poor Jren with me all over orchard today. Haha he even asked me "What's the rush? Why need to get everything at one go?" Stumped me for quite awhile there, I told him better to get everything done at once, but then, if I'm not really sure what I want to get for somebody, best to check out other options and take a bit more time.

Played several rounds of ID today at Atrium, I think it was rather uncomfortable, for Jren especially, since he was trying not to let my car level down. Haha, can't be helped, the level difference was to great, chances of my car levelling down was high. To balance it out, I had to win twice for every win he got, which wasn't exactly fair to him. Anyway, thanks for the games and following me around shopping.

The rest of the ID guys met up with Jren and myself later in the night, but seems like time was quite tight, some of them wanted to buy things, but didn't manage to get their chance to shop. Sorry Ryo! I'll go around with you another day, and perhaps pick up an item or two for myself too.

The Orchard Road crowd was terrible, both human and vehicular traffic. I had to park in a rather inconvenient place, which had high parking rates too. No choice right? If I want a parking lot at this time, only those places with high charges would have spaces. After getting out of the parking lot, I had to weave my way through the crowds. Wow didn't expect it to be so crowded, I thought last minute shopping was like a day or two before Christmas, not the week before :)

Yeah so today was a good day, but the rest of the week, got a little exasperating. Can't get my school projects and experiments done now, everyone is busy with their own things, and away on holidays. Only thing that I can manage to do are to write my own papers for my research.

Other than that, I had to prepare briefing notes for a cycling relay event in January, which I'm helping to plan. I had the briefing itself last night, which saw only 50% attendance. Quite disappointing, but chairman said that's the norm, just have to tie up loose ends with the rest over the next week. But anyway, all the committee members are invited for a dinner at the Istana with President on Jan 10. I, of course, accepted the invitation...haha...this would be my second time to the Istana. A rather formal event, perhaps I need to do something about my hairstyle before I go...oops :P

Alright, I'll try to blog more often instead of squeezing so much in one day's entry.

Blissful

*Yawnz*

Had to play the organ for service again this morning. Haha, been waking up late too many days, now getting up at 9am seems like a daunting task, went to church yawning. At least I didn't make so many mistakes today as the last session.

Must have eaten something bad, I had bit of diarrheoa today, had to scramble to Guardian Pharmacy at Clementi Central to get a box of charcoal pills before going to NUS.

The rain was rather persistent today, all the running in and out of the car in the rain (forgot my umbrella) has given me a slight cold now.

Some how NUS has come to be my favourite haunt on a Sunday after church. If I'm not meeting anyone, then I would stay at the library until it closes at 4.30pm. That's what I did today, while waiting for Ryo and SJ to confirm their plans. The library is really so comfortable now after they renovated. Sunday's a good day too, since there aren't too many students around. So comfortable until I slept for 30 mins or so too :)

Around 415, just when the library announced that they were closing for the day, Ryo told me they felt lazy to go out, so not going Atrium today. Same sentiments here, the weather was really good for staying indoors. So I went home, alternated between playing Cronous and sleeping. Yay, my bow valk's at level 63 today. 2 more levels to go for the black armor and Houyi bow.

My bro also came home rather early, so both of us were in my room, I at the PC playing Cronous, he at the PS2 playing Lord of the Rings.

Yesterday wasn't really a pleasant day, since most of my friends (the arcade ones) were feeling very down over the loss. I thought it was nothing much to fuss about, but I guess most of them aren't really exposed much to competions, so they don't take too well to losing. Nevermind, this would be a good experience. Haha there are lots of quotes by various people about lessons learnt in losing, but I guess we have all heard them so much, that I shouldn't say it here. Hmm... not entirely bad I guess. Ryo was d man of our match, clearing the whole of KC's team...haha...steady lah.

And again, today was a good day :) Hope yours was as well.

Ordinary day, but so many thoughts...

As like the previous week, I spent much of my time this week answering e-mails from students, and meeting up with those who have got problems with the 2162 module. Some questions are good, but I don't understand, why even with a forum, that some people just have to ask questions that have been asked before? Why can't they take the time to read through the questions that others have posted? After all, the other questions are related to their coursework as well.

I noticed so many who give a big SIGH when I suggest that they go look up some reference books for more in-depth material in preparation for this module. Hey man, this is an OPEN BOOK exam, so you can't expect to be happy with just your lecture notes. Besides, I'm not asking them to read through the whole book, just sieve out the important parts.

I don't understand what I was doing today, but I found myself in the library searching up references so that I can make the lives of the students easier. Hey man, who did the same for me when I was a student?

Today I didn't go to the arcade, since there was a computer fair, SITEX, at Expo from today until Sunday. Planned to go with Ryo, SJ and TL after school. Thing is, we actually planned to meet TL at Expo after his work, while the 3 of us head down around 5 pm.

Then, at 5 plus, TL called me and asked if he could take a lift from Clementi at 6 plus. Common sense told me I can't do that. 6 plus and we'll all be stuck in a jam. So I told him I can't pick him, gotta go get SJ and Ryo now.

I dunno what's with me, a minute later, I called SJ and Ryo, see if they wanna wait or not. They said ok no problem. I knew very well I'd be in for a jam. But I called TL and told him we'll wait for him.

So that's it....I picked TL up at 6.20, went on to pick SJ and Ryo, and ended up in a bloody long jam, reaching Expo at only 7.30 pm. Was I right to have waited? Or should I have stuck to common sense? If there wasn't any jam, that's ok. The long jam only wasted more petrol. But if I didn't wait, then TL wouldn't be with us...

damn.....

Hi again peeps...

Hahaha long time no blog....sorry ah to all my old faithful readers, but I really couldn't find the mood to blog.

Ok so here's a start, just for what's been going on today.

As usual, I met up with some students today to help them with their exam preparations. Gonna be a daily thing I guess, since their paper is in about 2 weeks time. Most have been asking me the same question, about this Apr/May 2003 Paper question 4. Geez, for those students who found their way to my blog, be a bit more brave lah, don't be so scared juz because they turned the tables on you and asked you to choose the cutting conditions....its OPEN ENDED!!!

Went to Atrium later in the evening to play a bit of arcade (as usual.....old habits die hard...). Met Quest and Yong Kiat there, they were both rather bored, as no one else seemed to be there, the usual gang were later than usual. So Questie watched me play Akagi, and gave me a few tips, which helped me get my timing a bit more constant. Thanks a lot man!

Shortly after the rest came, I had to go for a meeting, somewhere...out there....hahaha... well just to discuss some relay thing happening next year. Deadline coming soon, so all have to tie up the loose ends. There were some leftover snacks, which I thought was good stuff, so I brought them back with me to Atrium after that for the peeps to eat.

Didn't expect so many people to be around tonight, all the machines were full. Played a few more games, then the arcade closed, so we all went back. At least today, we didn't look so much like cooked prawns and lobsters anymore, after Monday's Sentosa outing. The red settled down, and most of us began browning (and peeling....). Ryo looked much darker than usual...haha....Sj....now is a nice blushing red....not a burnt red.

Yeah ok think that's about it tonight. Hopefully I'll remember to blog regularly!

Spark plug cable woes...

Just when I thought my car was all nicely serviced, the engine suddenly sounded like a WRX engine on Saturday, with 1/2 its usual power. Wow what a time for such things to happen, always on weekends, when I'm trying to enjoy myself. I think it was kind of a drag for those who took a lift from me as well...not too fun to drive in such a state.

Brought the car to my mechanic today, the problem being a leak in the insulation of one of the spark plug cables, so it didn't fire up the spark plug of one of the cylinders. He replaced it with a 2nd hand set of cables for $30, and told me he'll get a TRD set for me soon. Gonna cost $200+, but if it lasts, so much the better. This guy is really good, works fast, and doesn't squeeze money out of me...haha...I thought my whole day would be gone with the car at the workshop, but I still managed to spend half the day in NUS doing my experiments.

So after getting my car fixed, I went back to NUS to continue with my milling experiments. Quite fun actually, using the CNC milling machine. Only bad thing about the place is that the handphone reception there is exceptionally poor. So if anyone calls or SMS me in the day and can't get me, sorry ah, bad reception...can't receive anything.

The experiments are, for once, going on smoothly, with promising results...hopefully I can get enough conclusions, not much time left if I wanna finish my course by next July...

OK can't sleep too late today, gotta go meet another professor tomorrow...

So many things to do...

The past 2 days have been rather busy for me. I spent the whole day yesterday sending my car in for servicing and inspection. The first annoying thing that happened was that I took a wrong turn to one of the workshops I had to visit, and while finding my way there, through the narrow roads, this silly bugger who can't drive his van properly knocked into my car. Fortunately my car bumper is rather elastic, so there wasn't any damage to the bumper, but the paintwork on the bumper was a little cracked.

When I got to that workshop, while waiting for my car to be serviced, I had a look around, and saw something which looked like an evo6. I had a closer look at the rear, and saw that it was an evo4. Wow....first time I've seen an evo4 in SG. Seen a few evo5s and 6s, but never an evo4. Well this one had its engine removed for repair, apparently the driver blew a piston...

After all the servicing and inspection, I went to renew my road tax, but my mom forgot to sign the cheque...oh well...come back another day.

Still early, so I went to Marina South to join some of my friends who were bowling there for awhile. They didn't play too long, so since it wasn't that late yet, I went to Atrium Zone-X, and the place was really empty. But I saw Sad and Jarax there, so played a bit of ID before going home.

Then this morning, I was supposed to meet a lab technician at around 9am, but went at 945 instead, couldn't get myself to wake up, I was so tired from the day before. But it was rather fun, first time I got to mess around with a NC milling machine. I've handled those manual ones before, but this is my first time with a computer controlled machine. Gonna be using it for the next few weeks.

After the lab techician finished teaching me how to use it (nearly 2 hours!), I went to NP to meet Ryo, to pass him some documents. We also drove by this yellow Lamborgini, I thought it was a Gallardo, but everyone said its a Muceilago (dunno if I got the spellings right). Anyway, I got no passion for european cars. Gimme a Japanese car any time! hahaha

We went to JP after that, but today not many people went, so even after a few others like SJ, Despo and DEF went down, we didn't stay long, left around 8 plus.

After dropping SJ, I thot of going to eat fish noodles, on the way to Ryo's place, so I asked him to eat too. Wow...very nice...haha....no regrets stopping by. Sent Ryo home then I went home also.

My elbows are aching now...so I think I gonna stop here....wah...quite uncomfortable.

Post Japan Syndrome

It's been 5 days since I've returned from Japan, but I still haven't gotten over it. Kinda miss the place. The only music I've been listening so far is the w-inds. CD that I bought from Japan. Brings back good memories...

My left foot has been aching since Sunday when I went for some window shopping with the NY3OC people, I must have kicked something or what, I dunno why the ache is still there. Haha but it's funny, no matter where we go, we some how or other always end up walking towards an arcade.

I finally got my cable modem connection repaired yesterday, so I spent quite a bit of time with Cronous yesterday...hahaa...oh well...but too bad it seems like my cable TV box is spoilt, gotta go repair it soon.

I had a meeting yesterday evening too for organising an adventure race next year. While poring over the topo map of Singapore, I kept staring at the central catchment nature reserve area. Suddenly had some inspiration to go have a walk walk through that area. Should try it one day, heard that at some parts, it's easy to get lost, and handphones don't get any reception in there...

Today was less packed than expected, I thought I'd be in school half the day setting up my experiment, but the lab technician was helpful enough to do most of the setting up for me after I explained to him what I need. I'll be back to the milling machine on Thursday, hopefully can get some results then. I thought of going to the library after finished with the lab to read some books, but somehow the headache which I didn't think much of that morning affected my reading, so I just borrowed the book, then SMSed Ryo to tell him I would be going home first before meeting him and the gang to go to Shini's place.

The outing to Shini's place was a last minute one, which was decided on only last night. Supposed to be Sad meeting Shini and his place with a couple of others, but in the end, 12 of us turned up. I met Ryo, Mutu, SJ and DEF at Clementi, then drove down to Shini's place, half forgetting where it exactly is. When I got there, I watched LOTR part 1 with some of them, while half the lot went up to do dunno what in Shini's room. Think Sad got a bit hungry, so he asked Shini to go order the pizza....which was quite nice, 3 pieces each. Enough for me, dunno about the rest.

After dinner, without drinks, we went to the nearby minimart to grab a few bottles of soft drink before heading off to the park/playground/exercise corner. We didn't find much to do at the exercise corner, so we went to the playground, and wooo.....had a ball of a time there...luckily no neighbourhood police car came to complain about our noise. All the pro swingers were competing for height limits, and the rest went around discovering our second childhood on the see-saws and other funny things...haha...really had fun...had a group photo too, but I dunno how to put it in my blog.

Well I guess that's good team spirit, coming together not only for the game, but for fun and fellowship as well (haha fellowship of the ring!)

I love Japan!!

Konnichiwa!!

Yep I'm back from Japan. Actually I was back on Friday morning 1am, but when I got home, to my horror, my cable modem was spoilt, apparently by some power surge, so I can't have convenient access to internet from my home. So its easier for me to get online from campus (which is where I am right now)

Japan is a really nice place, both the environment, scenery, and people. 4 days was really too short a time for me to explore Japan, but too bad I was following my dad around, so had to fit into his schedule. Spent most of my time following him around to meet his business suppliers.

I stayed at this rather small hotel. Extremely small actually. This hotel only had a small bar & grill, the rest were rooms. The room I stayed in was one of the bigger ones, but it was a tight squeeze for my dad, my bro and myself. There wasn't enough space for us to lie our bags down nicely on the floor to open them :P

Trvalling around took a rather long time by car. My dad's business friend drove us around, showed us around Tokyo. Travelled on the Wangan highway too, at rather high speeds compared to that on Singapore expressways, he usually went at 110-120, sometimes up to 140. Everyone was doing around that speed too, all the GTRs, FDs and normal Toyota's and Honda's. Surprisingly, the most common sports cars around were the Skylines, all the different versions, GT-R, GT-T, GT-S, 32s, 33s, 34s. I saw this really nice stock white GT-R32, maintained really well, number plate was also 32...wow... Saw only 1 Evo (evo8) and 1 WRX (GDC) over the past 4 days... not forgetting this young chap who drove a blue Lamborgini as well, it was a Diablo if I'm not wrong....

The thing that really impressed me about Japan was the people. I would say that they are a much more disciplined lot than Singaporeans. But "disciplined" isn't a good enough word to describe them. They are really well-mannered. Tokyo IS a very crowded place, many people, many vehicles, many buildings and small spaces. But things still get on rather smoothly. Traffic is heavy, but jams aren't bad. Lots of people walk the roads, but I don't have to weave in and out of pedestrains like in Singapore. People walk around at the same fast pace. If they are slow or know they are gonna get in people's way, they'll keep to the side. Not like some inconsiderate people in Singapore, those who think they own the roads.

Oh and the 2 cutest girls I saw were working at petrol stations...haha...not at the same station, they were on different occasions, when my dad's friend pulled over to ask for directions. Wow these people are so damn friendly. On all the occasions my dad's friend asked for directions, they explain it to him in such detail, even though he didn't buy and petrol from them. There was this station attendant who wasn't too sure of the route himself, and he went to get a map and ask other staff about the route. Which station attendant in Singapore would do that? Most would probably say "I dunno" or "That way"...so vague....

Didn't get to do much shopping, well the things in Japan are rather expensive too, so I just bought some stuff that I haven't seen around in Japan, like the Battle Gear 3 memory keys for Ryo, Mutu and myself :P

Bought this CD+DVD compilation from Japan, of a J-pop group, comprising of 3 guys. Haha I thought the CD looked nice so I bought it, I never heard of the group before. But when I got back and played it, wow the music is really not bad. Well it's quite a typical j-pop boyband, but the music isn't bad at all. The group is called w-inds.

I'd go to Japan again anytime. It's the best overseas destination I've ever been to. Anyone going soon? :P

Off to Japan!

Yep yep, I'll be off to Japan on Monday, will be back on Thursday, which is why I'm blogging now, just in case I don't get a chance to do it later.

Nothing much happened on Friday, except that I had some new ideas for my research. Headed down to the school library to look for some books. First time I've been there since they finished renovation in July. Looks rather cool now, but I wish they would dump their old equipment like their trolleys and buy new ones. Keep seeing the same old rusty ones in a spunky brand new library. Quite an eyesore.

Yeah so because of the library trip, I was late getting to Atrium to meet some of the ID players. Wow everyone's getting so good, improving so fast. Have to do something about my own standards.

Anyway some of us had a match with this team CMI earlier today. Well, we kinda thrashed them, but I felt a little sorry for them, since they still weren't very good at the game. OK let me make it clear, sorry for the team members, but not sorry for their leader. A rather screwed up guy. Why they even bother to stay in his team, I don't know. Think they'll be better off else where.

After the match I went for dinner with the whole group of players. Had wantan noodles at this place near paradiz centre. My second time eating there, so I ordered a larger plate, since the food was good. The fried wantan really reminded me of the ones I used to buy from my school canteen in my sec sch days. Oily but nice...hahaha

Went back to Atrium for awhile more after dinner, play a couple of games. Gotta limit myself, gonna be abit tight with my wallet these few months. Usually after the arcade closes, Ryo, Mutu, Hypez, SJ and myself would go play pool for awhile, but not tonight, since all of us would be ice-skating tomorrow. Well have a good rest everyone, hope we all enjoy the ice skating!

test yet again

test test

ahh silly webbie...took almost a day before my entry got posted.

Maybe I'll take a chance to squeeze in something while I can.

Bowling last nite wasn't too bad, found back my form during training, hopefully I can maintain it. Bowled on the same pair of lanes as Valerie Teo. (For those who dunno her, she's the 19 year old national bowler, who has been creating headlines in the bowling scene for the past few years) Although she said she hasn't bowled for 2 months, but she's still as good as ever. Damn smart girl, studying medicine in NUS now. And still a national bowler. So envious of her...haha

After bowling, I went to have supper with David and Lingying at Venezia, at 6th Ave. Lingying swore she's never going back to Gelare again...hahaha....

Yeah ok, hope this blogging site stay fine.

A bit of sarcasm (can you handle it?)

Haha I have no idea why I'm in a sarcastic mood today, well at least I seem to be that way when I posted replies in the Initial D forum today.

I didn't go out today, just stayed at home and do some reading up for my research. Suddenly have to read a lot of papers again, during the last meeting with my prof, we thought about another way of getting things done, so I'm trying to implement them as soon as possible. Should have explored this idea earlier, things will be a little rushed now.

My maid's not around for two weeks, so everyone takes turn to do the housework now. Not too bad lah, can get used to it. Some tasks are still easier than washing my own car anyway :P

Backwards

Just got back from AMK funland...haha..haven't been there for quite awhile. The last time was when we all met for the final X-Treme meeting. Went to play a bit of ID after I had a haircut just now.

I was supposed to go for my school bowling selections at SAFRA Yishun at 9.30am, but I couldn't wake up in time. Woke up only at 9.25am :P Guess I must have been rather tired out after playing pool so late last nite. Ah well, nevermind abt this session, just have to work harder during the next session, if there is any. The next one should be the last one though...

But then pool last nite with Mutu, Ryo and SJ wasn't too bad either, getting back the hang of the game, all the aiming and placings....and still that adrenaline rush when I do a successful double last :P but it's still like once in a blue moon...probably tyco..haha

I went to meet those 3 after I finished with a BB Anniversary Dinner. Hmmm...50 yrs of existence. Food wasn't too bad, but had a lot of people I didn't know. Well, I shouldn't be able to know that many, there aren't many people younger than me who finished secondary or JC, but so many more older. A lot of 40 and 50 yr olds...wow...

The ID ladder also ended yesterday...finally...haha...don't think I'll be playing in the next ladder, having to be on your toes every week is kinda stressful. Quest won the ladder, congrats to him, kept the whole bunch of Midnight players away from the top spot...not bad man...

Tutorials for the rest of this week wasn't really anything interesting, only that because of an error in the location of the tutorial room on one of the websites, half of one of the classes I conducted was waiting in another tutorial room in another block. It wasn't much later in that afternoon that I got a call from my professor, saying that some students complained that I was missing from class. WAHH....these people find fault very quickly. Customer is always right? Bullshit. (Sounds familiar from another incident recently) Of course, knowing my character, I sent my prof an e-mail that not only rectified the problem, but also shot those pple who said that I was missing. Very simply put, if half of their class were in the correct room where I was conducting the tutorial, why should the other half be lost in another room? Anyway there weren't entirely to blame. Dunno which admin dummy put the wrong venue on the website...a very important website too...

Yeah ok I'll stop here for now. My blog entry today is a little different, started from the most recent event and worked backwards...haha

It's been a long time...

Haha it's really been some time since I last made an entry. Since so many of you peeps told me not to stop, so I decided to start again today. But no promises on how long my momentum can hold this time :)

This week is the first week of tutorials for the module I'm tutoring. All familiar faces, since I taught them in an earlier module last year. Some have changed, some haven't. The most obvious changes are those who changed their hairstyles. Some who had the most whacky hairstyles and colors now become so subdued, while some were exactly the opposite..haha..

The first class I met had only 5 students instead of the 20+ I was expecting. So probably the rest decided on their own to join another class. True enough, one of the classes I had yesterday had 34 student, luckily I brought sufficient handouts for them...haha...

My bowling lately has been rather sucky too. Yesterday won only 1 point out of 4 in my league. Today's training at Yishun wasn't too good, spent most of the time trying to get back the basics instead of working on consistency. Maybe my legs a bit tired this week after Monday's run..ahaha...went for a 3 or 4km run on Monday around my area. I was trying to keep my usual pace, but I hadn't run in quite awhile, so I think the muscles weren't really used to it. But I like the feeling of sore muscles sometimes...haha..got the feeling of a good workout.

Yeah ok, guess that's a start for warming up my blog again. I'll try to do one tomorrow again, or latest, in two days time. Got lots of meetings these few weeks, and I had to prepare for a meeting that I need to go for tomorrow. Looks like I'll have to be late for bowling training.

IRC was better tonight, at least it wasn't crap all the way. But at 12 midnite sharp, everyone seemed to stop chatting. Well it wasn't coordinated, but I guess it seems like finally everyone is getting back to their routine, of preparing for school and work the next day. Not everyone, but at least most of them.

At least it was a pleasant day.

Oh...hi again...*yawn*

Wow didn't realize that its been so many days since my last entry. These few days have been just so routine I guess there wasn't much to write about.

Let's see....

OK Saturday night wasn't bad, Mutu, SJ, Ryo and me went to Merlion Park after Atrium that nite, to just sit down and chat around. Nice place actually, first time I went out to that platform there.

Sunday was plain boring, maybe the only kick of the day was that I thought I had to play for church service, so made myself rush early to church, and find that someone is already playing for that Sunday...haha...but it's a nice feeling being early...

Monday...er...yesterday rite...hmmm...went to campus at 10am, meet up with the FYP student Yong Hwee and my prof to discuss Yong Hwee's ideas on his FYP. Not bad, a rather hardworking guy, and he presented some ideas which were quite interesting, considering that I gave him a rather ordinary FYP. Think it's a good start for him.

Oh and I've been playing cronous again these few days, suddenly got the kick again. But something's been bugging me. I remembered the thing about these online games. They tend to take time away from your friends, as what I've experienced last time. So as not to neglect my friends during my usual online chatting hours (11pm to 1am), I have my laptop on as well during this time. Only to find that....there's hardly anyone interested in chatting.

This time round I didn't initiate chats. Just to see who would message me. Only one person. Wow...so what happened? Come to think of it, I was the one who initiated most of the time.

In general, there are also much lesser people chatting now. What happened? Have we all got sick of one another? Even with those who I chat with, our conversations are just hi's and bye's most of the time. Hardly any talk about stuff. Erm...I dun mean I want those mushy mushy BGR talk...but...surely there's more to talk about than crap. Hmm...I do believe I'm not being moody, so don't anyone come tell me that I am.

Nevermind, I'll see how tonight's chat is again.

Just got a call from Kevin, asking me about parts for a robot for his ME design project. Haha design projects are always headaches, you usually can't find what you need in the form that you want it.

Another rather free day today. Gonna finish up some work, then play cronous again later...haha...

ABS....

Its been quite a long time since I ate the jap food at Clementi! I had to use the slightly screwed up machines, so I had some rather funny matches with Kahwee and some other guys....damn exasperating having to see the brake lights come on when we don't step on them...

Hmm...other than that, I can't say I did much else today.

BTW, what happened to my blog photo....

Losing the mood?

Last nite I kind of wasn't in the mood to blog. Not sure why, but I guess that's how I am, losing interest in things after awhile. Anyway I'll still try my best to blog once a day, and at the very least, once in two days, for all you avid readers of my blog :)

Been caught up in evening meetings for the past two days, so I spent most of my afternoons preparing for them and doing my school work.

Today was rather fun, with Ryo and Mutu at my place studying. Well Ryo tried to study lah, but a little unsuccessful. I gave Mutu some help with this Maths and Thermodynamics. Hey I still remembered my stuff!! hahaha...First Law of Thermodynamics, conservation of energy :P
(hope I got that right)

The two of them went to watch Alien vs Predator in the evening with Shini, Sad, and Taka, while I went for my meeting. Met up with all of them for awhile after my meeting before going home.

My parents are away for these few days, so me and my brother are alone at home. I like to have people stay over when they're away, since I very seldom have the chance to have friends stay over. Quite fun, but too bad this week no one is really free to stay over. Understandable too, since school has already started.

It's already almost the end of another week so quickly. Oh well, just enjoy myself tomorrow :)

Boring Tuesday

I spent most of today clearing up work that I chucked aside over the weekend. Thankfully I managed to do most of them, the rest should be managable if I don't get swamped by other things during the week.

Didn't do much else today, except to go for my bowling league in the evening. Bowled rather badly today, with a 173 average compared to my league average of 198. Won only 1.5 of 4 points from my opponent....damn off form...

Nothing much else to blog today, so I think that's abt it for now.

Memories

*Yawn* haha yep I'm up and about in school already, had to meet my professor and a final year student this morning. Meeting's just over and I've just had a MacDonald's hotcakes meal for breakfast.

I read through some of my friends blogs while having breakfast, and all those from X-Treme had something to post about our team's closure.

Not everyone left with a happy heart, some left with a heavy heart too, especially the founding members of the team. I wasn't one of the founding members, in fact, I joined them about a year or so after they formed.

I started playing Initial D Arcade Stage in January 2003, shortly after version 2 of this game arrived in Singapore. My first encounter with an X-Treme member, surprisingly, was with someone who was...hmmm...up to now I'm not sure...was he sacked from the team or did he quit? It was Johnny...haha... Yeah, and on that first encounter at Marina South, he had a good time thrashing me in the game...haha...I really didn't know anything about it then. He told me about teams that played this game, but no, he wasn't the one who told me about X-Treme.

It was another of my friends who told me about a forum where IDAS players visited, and that's how I got to know the existance of other teams like X-Treme.

Another surprising thing that most of my team members may not know, is that the first team which trialed me wasn't X-Treme, but Invaders. Haha surprised? I had a very bad impression of them. A highly disorganised team, with many young players, who thought of team leader (Zhiming) as a god-like player in the game. I didn't even wait for their trial to end, I left halfway. Their team was rather large back then, but now, we still wonder if they exist...

My first encounter with X-Treme was also my first visit to AMK Funland with a friend whom I met in the forum, by the nick of Overture. I didn't know then that I had stepped into the homeground of Team X-Treme.

I can't remember now if I met the team members on the first or second visit to AMK Funland, but I remember the first two team members who talked to me, and even helped me with my game play ont hat very first meeting. They were none other than Sam and Benjamin, who coincidentally were my competing teammates in the recent Ultimate Games Challenge. The two of them were very friendly, and didn't act like some big shot in X-Treme, although they were two of the best players in the team then. I immediately felt comfortable mixing among them, it was so different from my experience with Invaders.

A few days later, someone from Invaders called me to join their team. I said...uhhhh....hold on, let me think about it. Shortly after that call, I approached Sam and asked him if I could join X-Treme...haha... He took me and Overture into X-Treme, another surprise, without a trial :) His reason? I think it was because he saw the two of us play already, and felt that we were suitable, although still very noob, to join the team. Thanks Sam for that moment of rescue!!

Oh wow what a good time, the song I'm listening to now is Bryan Adam's Summer of '69. (Chorus line: Those were the best days of my life!)

From then on, I played together with the best IDAS team in Singapore. I slowly got to know the other members. Sam was always the first I approached for help. Benjamin, I admired his skills with his crazy green S13. Benny, the team leader, was firm, but I found him still very approachable. Apparently there are people who don't always agree with him, which led them to leaving the team. But I thought that his style of leadership was necessary for this team to move. Wanxiang, who knew everything about the game, was a quiet guy. What amused me about him, was that everything I found out myself about the game, he already knew (another Bunta??). James, who back then also seemed a bit "dao" to me...haha...was the best player in the team. I stupidly challenged him a few times on our first encounter :P Gazua, the Prince of Usui...haha...any many others.

The team has come a long way since then. New members join, old members left. Team matches were played, and always won. The official closure of the team at 4pm, 15 Aug 2004, marked the end of a team with a record of being undefeated.

I think it was no surprise to my team members that when our team disbanded, that I should move over to join NY3OC. It wasn't that I had a questionable loyalty to X-Treme, Ryo can vouch for that. But it happened that during the course of playing this game, that I got to know many other players from outside of X-Treme, and I some how got along well with some members of NY3OC, like Ryo, Mutu, and TMR.

Wow I've spent 45 minutes trying to write out this blog. Think that's enough for now, shouldn't spoil it by adding too much detail.

Time to get on with my school work, or I'll be in school until tonight...haha...seeya!

Sayonara, X-Treme

Yep, X-Treme, the team which I have been playing Initial D Arcade Stage for the past year and a half, has disbanded. A rather unusual disbanding, since there were no internal conflicts or unhappiness among the members. It was quite unanimous that it was time to move on. I guess all arcade games are like that, they come, they rise and gain popularity, then they wane and fall away. It was nice knowing all the people in my team. Although we do wish to keep in touch with each other, it is inevitable that we would see each other a lot less. But we ended it on a good note. After our final meeting today, we went to AMK Funland, and for about an hour, all six machines were occupied by our team members at the same time. Wow :)

Anyway, this isn't the end of my gaming days. I'm still gonna be playing, might have some plans for the future too. But I'll let that take its time to happen.

It was a fully packed Saturday today, no doubt a rather good one.

Started off by going for an NUS fun bowl this morning at SAFRA Yishun, almost forgot about it last night. Bowled like...hmmm...a cow...but then, got to meet new year 1 bowlers, got quite a few potential ones this year I think.

Then had to rush a bit here and there, to try and pass a coat to a Wesley, and try to rush to atrium to lend Benjamin one of my ID cars. Haha eventually, Wesley told me he borrowed from someone else, and Benjamin told me no hurry. So I relaxed a bit, and went to Atrium in the afternoon with Ryo.

Had a rather interesting match in the ladder with Benjamin, using my own car to fight my own car, driven by benjamin. I was quite surprised how the evo7 performed on akina, managed to win Benjamin there, but lost out in the match with him on the snow map. Quite fun. As usual, Andy had to open his mouth with those stupid comments again.

After the ladder, I went to the Esplanade with Hector, Cirong, Angie and Kelvin to watch The Dim Sum Dollies. Long time since I've watched a live play, but I would say it was worth the money.

Following the play, I went with them to Baker's Inn at the Atrium for dessert, before going to meet the other ID people down at the arcade. Didn't play anymore, just talked with them, at different locations...haha...

Went down to Esplanade again with Ryo and SJ. Both of them didn't feel like going home, so just went with them to talk and walk a bit, until we all got tired and went back about 3am.

Wow...fully packed day.

Friday 13th...

A rather ordinary Friday 13th I think. No bad luck for me, perhaps the only thing I could say is I won the lowest possible sure-win prize in a scratch-and-win lucky draw at ZoneX. Haha, I was never lucky anyway.

Started off by doing lots of e-mail correspondences with my prof and some external agencies.

Went with Ryo and Despo to Atrium in the evening to meet Hypez. Zaki was going to NS, and it was a kind of celebration for him, with all his teammates there to play games with him...haha

Had a few ID games with Yongkiat, Aegis and Shini.

Wow first time I had a challenge with Yongkiat, he's good stuff, respect him for using his FC, and his battle skills. Good match there.

Aegis, as usual, has some work to do on his pick up, but he's improving.

Shini, well, what can I say, he's still as good, but I still wonder why he bother to challenge me with an 8v, knowing very well that he would win me. Anyway doesn't matter, after all, I left the challenge open to anyone. But Shini, if you're reading this, we need to talk. There are some things you do that irk others, and I think as a friend, I best tell it to you personally. There are an increasing number of people who have second thoughts about your character.

Tomorrow's Saturday, and I've got a play to catch at the Esplanade. My first time going there, that's just me being suaku...haha...ok cya all.

No mood

Sianz.....last nite I had no mood to blog, not that I forgot about it.

Didn't accomplish much yesterday, just went out with the usual bunch to JP, bought myself somemore anime posters.

Suddenly got the kick to play Cronous again, I slowed down my Monster and Me a bit...haha.. Last night played Cronous with my bro, haven't done it for a long time. Quite fun, plus we got some very rare items too...haha...

Still thinking about what I posted the night before, and also remembering what one of my friends said some time back,

"If a couple within a group of friends break up, inevitably, one of them will leave the group as well."

So far, he's proven himself right in saying that. Nothing really eventful today, just helped ZL with some maths revision, then attended a meeting before going bowling at night. Oh but the supper was wonderful. Went with David and Lingying to this fish soup noodle place at Alexandra, opposite Queensway shopping centre. We rushed there since it was near closing time, but luckily it was still open. We shared a large bowl of noodles, the best fish noodles I've ever had. Must bring some of my other friends here some time. Roughly $3.50 per person.

Went home after supper, logged into MSN and IRC as usual. Lots of crappy talk tonight, but it was kinda fun. Chatted with Hypez until 4am, he couldn't sleep again, and didn't feel like going school tomorrow.

It's kinda funny how things get so complicated once a person gets closer to his/her group of friends. All the little minor things slowly get exposed, the nice sides, and the ugly sides. Sometimes the ugly sides might threaten to spoil the friendship too. I sense that something might go wrong soon, but it's still too early to say.

AHHH Dammit not again!

Yes yes I forgot to blog again last night before going to sleep. Haha...got too carried away playing cronous, they added more maps to their beta version.

Wow...start of a new campus term. Not that it matters that much to me, but its been a few months since I've seen my school so packed. I wanted to use the school's laser printer, but took me so long just to find a terminal that I can use.

James was bugging me the whole afternoon to go Bugis. I told him I can't leave until 5. Then he said SJ and Mutu also going down, he's gonna treat everyone to dinner....so well, since SJ n Mutu go, then mabbe I go too. It wasn't for the free dinner that I went down for :P

I called Ryo along as well, and James was calling each of us, once every few minutes, to ask us to hurry down. He must have been real bored. He treated us to Mos Burger. Stayed around bugis, didn't do much, then went home.

Got home, logged into MSN, and Hypez tells me that a group of friends issued challenges to some teams, including XT. Hmmm, ok, so I go read the forum. Wow...this group of friends includes 3 people from XT as well. I was wondering if they told WX, the XT team leader, about it. I thought its kinda funny that you challenge your own team with another team without first informing your leader. Sort of rebellious isn't it? Haha ah well, but if team leader says ok, then bring it on!

OK that's it for now, hope I don't forget to blog again tonight...

Oops...Happy Belated National Day

I forgot to post a blog last night before sleeping! haha.. a little too tired yesterday.

I though I would have spent the whole day at home, but Hypez asked me to meet him and some of the XT players at Bugis. So I told him I'd be there around 4pm.

On MSN, SJ, Ryo and Mutu were all also rather bored, so I asked them to go Bugis as well. So once again, we all end up at the arcade...haha

By the time I got there around 5, most of those who were already there wanted to go for dinner, so ok, go dinner first. Quite hard to find a place to eat for so many of us, but we managed to squeeze into BK opposite Bugis. Most of them left after dinner, left Ryo, SJ, Mutu, Hypez and Budong.

Went back to the arcade after dinner, but I didn't have the mood to play much. Played a few rounds, broke 1 record, then this silly kid comes along. At first I thought he was ok, but after awhile I realised that he die die also want to win. Too bad, dun wanna let u win so much...haha... :P

After finishing our games, we went to a nearby Cheers outlet to get some drinks. By then I was rather restless and wanted to go home...haha sorry guys if I made u all hurry a bit, could see that some of you not willing to go home yet!

When I got home and logged into MSN, the whole gang were all chatting like no tomorrow...haha..all still so active. Oh well, I guess it was a good National Day weekend. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

Naruto Siao

Certainly had a great day of unexpected fun today.

Started off by going to church, had to play for service, so woke up a bit earlier.

As usual, I was rather lost as to what to do after church, so I SMSed Ryo, to see if he and the rest who stayed over last nite at JL's place were still there or not. I thought he would be sound asleep at home, so I didn't expect a reply. But he replied and said all of them were still at JL's place, so I decided to drop by, maybe just do lunch with them before they head home.

When I got there, JL, SJ and Ryo were up already, while Hypez and Mutu were still snoring away...haha... SJ and Ryo were watching Naruto, so I joined in too. Haven't watched this anime before, reminded me a bit of Shaman King. Rather interesting anime. We woke the 2 sleepy heads up, and called TMR and asked him to meet us for lunch at 2pm. SJ was rather addicted to the anime, so we left JL's place rather late.

Went to Bukit Panjang Plaza by LRT. My very first LRT ride...haha...suaku....I was quite amused by the glass panels, they blur themselves out when the LRT car passed close to HDB blocks. The guys said it was to give the people staying in those blocks some privacy from the commuters on the LRT.

We ate at Long John Silvers, which was at the newly renovated area as B1. Nothing fantastic though. We went up to have a look at the arcade, which only had version 2 ID machines. The machines weren't in a good condition, so we didn't stay long. We spent sometime at Comics Collection, looking at Naruto posters and handphone chains. Bought myself a Shaman King Poster of Asakura Yoh and Amidamaru, as well as a Naruto handphone chain.

Didn't intend to, but all of us went back to JL's place after lunch. Initially some of us wanted to play mahjong, but most of us ended up watching more Naruto. SJ was firmly glued back in her seat in front of the laptop screen again...haha...James came along shortly after.

Some of us went to a nearby shopping centre for dinner. We planned to eat KFC, but then JL asked if we wanted to eat curry fish head, so we decided to, since it was a good break from fast food. After we ate, we bought back dinner for the rest who were still glued to the laptop screen watching Naruto.

After we got back to JL's place, yet again, we watched a bit more Naruto, before heading back at around 10. Most of them were exhausted by then. Even so, when I logged into MSN and mIRC later that night, all of them were online. All of us flooded #Project_D with Naruto chat, and I think it might have irked some of the other chatters...haha...so we continued the session in MSN.

Hmmm...halfway while chatting, Ryo was suddenly very pissed off by a comment. Managed to settle the matter, but guess we were perhaps a little insensative. Well he might have been a little tired getting home so late, or maybe for some other reason, but I guess it might be good to be a little more careful with comments. Hope everything's ok wif u now.

We didn't chat too late, as all the rest were rather tired. Most went to sleep a little past one, and I continued chatting with Mutu. However, at 2 something in the morning, Mutu didn't reply. Shortly after, his MSN went in to away mode...haha....he must have fallen asleep at the com :) Think it was about time for him to get some sleep anyway.

Tomorrow's National Day, so Happy National Day to all Singaporeans out there!

No titles!!!

Oops I just realized that for the past 2 days, I forgot to put titles for my blogs! haha...sorri...

Went to Atrium again today at 4pm, just in time for the ladder. Couldn't defend my position, so dropped one spot. Nevermind. Andy is really one kind...say I bang him at the start. Well I have 10 secs to get in front since I'm the defender. If you don't wanna slow down and let me go first, of cos I'm gonna squeeze into your lane. Then what you expect me to do? Be so nice to let you take the lead after 10 secs? I'm not stupid lah...full of shit...always complaining and putting on false fronts. There...I'm saying it out and being frank. Still ask me for a lift to somewhere to take a cab after his match. I just got to Atrium and u want me to leave. What you take me for? Taxi driver? Wait. I thought you drive an R34. A real-life one. Go use it. If you wanna make more friends with this ID group of people, go figure out why they can't stand you.

Forget about him. I had more fun with my bunch of friends today. Haha...13 of us at Pastamania, first time I've been there with so many people. Of course they couldn't seat us all at the same table, so we had to split. Could tell that some of them weren't too keen on eating there, cos their budget is a bit low. Perhaps we'll have somewhere cheaper next week.

After dinner, went back to the arcade again. Didn't play much today, wasn't really in the mood to, just hang around, watch others play, help them out a bit. Wow Hypez, don't get so stressed, everyone has his bad days. Take a few days break, you'll feel and perform better after that. Played around with my ek9 a bit, managed to break my happo record by 0.1s. Not much, but at least its something.

JL was rather restless today...haha...keep asking me where we should go for supper. In the end he managed to gather a group of 9 of us to go Al-Ahzar to drink godzilla again...haha...First time getting such a large group of us to go there. Fetched some of them while the rest took bus. Mutu kept asking all those nonsensical riddles....ahaha...Shini jitao blur, cannot tahan all the crappy answers :P

Hypez wanted to stay over at someone's place after supper since he didn't wanna pay the cab fare home. Ryo was a little restless too and didn't want to go home. I couldn't have them over at my place, so they all went to JL's place to stay the night. SJ joined them too, the 4 of them having fun there now. I wonder if they're sleeping already or playing some game...haha

Rather tired now, so I guess I'll retire for tonight.

Finally things are moving again for my research. Got a call from my lab officer this morning telling me my materials had arrived. Told him I'll go collect them later today. Not bad, can send them for treatment next week.

Soon after, I got another sms. David told me someone replied to my post in nusbowlers. Switched on my comp, and saw a very violent reaction from someone. Anyway the rest of the day saw some posts flying here and there. Dunno why people are so touchy. If they replied like that in the Initial D forum, they would sure be hated to the core. So nitpicky.

Anyway why let such things spoil my day.

Chatting with JL for awhile in MSN, then awhile to Ryo ask well before going to NUS to collect my materials from the lab officer. With friends like JL and Ryo, what else do u need to make a better day? hahaha...forget those stupid senseless comments in the bowler's group.

Went to NUS in the afternoon, and headed straight for the AML. Saw my prof there as well, chatted to him awhile regarding the aquisition of that $100k thermal imaging system. He also acknowledges that it was unfortunate we don't have that thing around yet. Got my tool inserts, then headed out of NUS.

Went down to Atrium about 5pm to meet Hypez. He already msged me earlier to tell me abt his new Happo record with the new techinique Ryo mentioned the day before. So although I didn't intend to play, I ended up playing. And breaking my own record. Thanks Ryo!

Broke another record also, in Akagi. This one is thanks to Hypez!

James treated Hypez, SJ and me to dinner at Piazza, another restaurant at Atrium. Wah...been a long time since someone treat me. Thanks James!

Ryo came along after we went back down to the arcade. Around 10pm, Hypez, Ryo, SJ, James and myself went to Baker's Inn for dessert. This place getting more popular with us. Good dessert here.

After that sent Ryo and SJ back. At home logged into MSN, and chat with Ryo and Hypez again...haha....all of us still talking a lot.

Been quite a long day, think I'll stop here for now.

It was a rather ordinary start to my day this morning. Woke up, check e-mails, reply the important ones, check msn, see who's online, check my forums. JL was on MSN, chat with him for awhile. I was about to go have lunch, when Ryo suddenly came online, thought he was at school, but he had some stomach pains so stayed at home. He told me he was gonna see doc soon. Doc said might have some problem with his appendix...wow...

Anyway went down to JP in the evening with Ryo, met JL, Hypez, TMR, Def and a few others there. The usual, played WMMT, play ID, break a few individual records, challenge bunta. Yeah a rather normal Thursday, but it wasn't too bad.

Only thing the Jap food at the food court didn't taste Jap at all. More like Chinese...think I'll stick to Sumo-Ya at Clementi...

As usual after I settled down at home, logged in to irc and MSN, but the chatting tonight wasn't too fun with everyone. Some chats were rather high tensioned, and some of my friends were rather stressed too. Dun wanna say who they are, not very nice. Problematic night, but well, that's life.

Haha so nothing much interesting today. Tomorrow probably going Baker's Inn for dinner or supper...yum yum :)

Dilemma

Got a song that keeps ringing in my head tonight, After The Love Has Gone, by Steps. No I haven't lost any love, not that I have any to start with in the first place. Nice song though.

Not exactly feeling fantastic tonight, in a short span of 1 day, I think I've upset at least 3 people in one way or another for being honest and straight to the point. Can't say it's a nice record to have, for one, I don't like to offend people, and I don't like to have enemies. But sometimes I just get tired of "grinning-and-bear-with-it" when people piss me off. But is it this very "grin-and-bear" attitude I have that helped me make so many friends.

OK so then I tell them off. Now what's worse is if they get angry with me, cos it will be ME who feels bad for telling them off. Wierd right? But if I "grin-and-bear", they will just carry on like as if I'm fine with what they're doing.

You might say I lack patience, but those who know me, do I really lack patience? Anyway I welcome any of you who know me to give me comments on this, in private of course. I won't bite your head off. Promise :)

Nothing much unusual today, started off the day by meeting my financial advisor during lunch. Dunno why she asked for an appointment, probably just something routine, didn't do much changes to my stuff.

Following that I exchanged a few e-mails with my professor regarding my research work. Money is always the problem in getting things done. Not talking about hundreds of dollars, but thousands and hundreds of thousands. See see that's what you get for going where no one has gone before...haha...

Went bowling in the evening for training. Ronnie, our coach, kinda confused all of us with his new method...haha...he's a nice guy, just that he isn't very good at presenting his ideas. Well I think most of us got the idea towards the end of the session. Had a short supper at Yishun before coming home.

It was past 1am when I logged into MSN, most of my friends all sleeping, but JL was still awake. Hey man, really fun chatting with you tonite, especially all the army talk!

Sianzzz....still thinking about what I wrote in the first few paragraphs. Now I got a funny thought..."Cherish your friends, but will they cherish you?"

Disgusting handicap!!

Wow another long day today. I was about to go to NUS in the morning, when my maid asked me to go NTUC to get some stuff. I thought it was just the usual shopping for household items, but she added vegetables to the list. I was like WAHHHH I never buy vegetables before. It doesn't really concern me since I don't eat them, but others in my family do...haha...don't blame me if they don't taste good!

So off I went to NUS, although just a week before term starts, its still rather quiet. Went there to finalize some of my notebook settings. Yeah that would be all, no need to mess around with reinstalling it anymore. 256 MB RAM is fine for XP! Who said its not enough! just a little slower than usual but it doesn't kill you. There was this girl who was sitting on another table nearby with her notebook, dunno why she was there, she didn't seem to be accomplishing much, fidgeting quite a bit, looking here and there, then on the internet radio on her notebook, but 10 mins later she went away. Anyway then there was also a small commotion with some of the cleaners and their supervisor. Apparently this supervisor was complaining about one of the malay cleaners who was skiving, didn't do her job, keep talking on the handphone, etc. She asked another cleaner who knew this skiver to let her know that she was looking for her. This other cleaner was trying to tell the supervisor that the skiver had some problems here and there need to solve or whatever. After the supervisor left, this other cleaner sort of quickly looked for the skiver and I think told her that she was in deep shit...haha....or something like that in malay. Cover-up in progress!

After I left campus I went to Clementi, of course to the arcade first, where else? Haha...saw Judas and Despo there, and surprise surprise, Shiro and Mel and well. Had to wait awhile before my turn to play, dunno why so crowded on a Tuesday afternoon.

After my game, I went to NTUC to buy the groceries. At least now I know where to look for which vegetables...haha...had to make two trips to my car, not many things to buy, but had some heavy ones like washing powder and rice, and I had to make sure like the washing power box didn't crush the eggs while I was carrying them to the car.....wahhh....workout for me man....

Got back just in time for dinner, and had a quick shower before going to Victor's Superbowl for my Tuesday league.

My team kinda thrashed the opponent 17-3 (no mercy...haha...although their team captain begged for some :P), but what I found so disgusting was that my opponent had a 5 pin handicap but bowled a 190 plus average for the 3 games (for those who do not know much about bowling leagues, at Victor's, a 5 pin handicap means the bowler has been bowling an average of about 175 for the past dunno how many weeks). So disgusting. Nevermind. He deserved the thrashing...haha :P Managed a 257 on my first game, but I lost the line in the next 2 games, so managed a 650 total, 50 pins short of a house award. Damn...

Got home, logged in to MSN and mIRC. Some heated argument going on in IRC, I typed a bit here and there, but then decided to stop since no one was really paying any attention to anyone. Waste my finger strength. Ryo was busy settling his team merger stuff (or rather its failure). He was rather sad that it didn't work out, he didn't even have to mood to write his blog...haha... dun worry bro, try to help you out with this another time.

And JL was trying to get me, Ryo and Jonathan to go out tomorrow, but we all just seem to be free at the wrong time. Well I guess it will have to be Thursday then.

Hmm a bit hungry now, I think I'll go eat some Famous Amos cookies. Blog again tomorrow!

Pool....

Today was the first day in a long time I played pool (the one with the balls, not swimming pool...) Went with JL, Jonathan and Ryo to Beauty World today to play snooker and pool. Really rusty at this game liao...haha...pot in so many cue balls.

After pool went to Al-Ahzar again, to let Jonathan try the godzilla...another satisfied customer! I didn't order one, cos not really in the mood for it, so just had some longan drink.

We didn't really know what to do after that, but when JL suggested we go play MJ at his place, I think none of us had objections. JL's house is very spacious, and he had 2 rooms to himself...wow... 2 MJ tables also! Didn't expect to stay there so long, we had a pizza dinner break in between our game.

After that about 9 plus I sent Jonathan to the LRT station, and sent Ryo back. I didn't go home immediately, went back to NUS to try and download some applications. Think I almost messed up my laptop again, but luckily everything seemed ok when I got home.

A little tired now, and a bit sian of blogging...ahaha...I dunno why...well hope I'll get some motivation to write stuff that is less boring...

Many many viruses....

Kinda unfortunate today. I went to NUS this afternoon, since I was a little bored, and brought my notebook along. Logged into the intranet as usual, but I forgot to un-share my folders that I used when re-installing my desktop. And along the way, some stupid idiot planted a whole load of viruses into my laptop. Didn't realize it until I happened to have problem opening some of the shared folders. At that point of time I still wasn't sure if it was indeed a virus infection or not.

So when I got home later that day, I used my desktop to scan my notebook's harddrive for virus. Thankfully my desktop is up and running fine. Lo and behold, there were so many files in the C drive of my notebook that were infected. No point cleaning them, anyway I already had intended to reformat the notebook soon. So I spent the whole evening reformatting and reinstalling my notebook. Its quite alright now, one of these days need to download the software from NUS net when I'm around campus.

Anyway while I was still in school, Benny SMSed me and told me that he, ZW and DT were coming down to Clementi. I was quite stunned since they were coming all the way from Marine Parade. Wow. So I met them at Clementi Central for lunch, and then went to the arcade to play Side By Side 2. Haha... first time I played this game with Benny and ZW. This was the game that preceded Battle Gear, and these guys were the pro's setting records on these machines. Had quite a good time there.

Anyway its raining rather heavily now. Think I'll stop here for today, dun wanna be caught in a power trip later when the lightning flashes. Seeya peeps!

Packed Saturday!

I half expected this Saturday to be another routine boring one, but it turned out quite nicely.

Well as usual I went down to Atrium for the ladder match at 4pm. I was again expecting to lose and drop one position. The strong climber today was Andy, which caught some people by surprise. Well I was rather surprised too since he didn't challenge me on Myogi...haha...mabbe he see me no up :P

I narrowly defended myself on Akagi down, Andy was just right at my tail. So time for me to counter challenge, not bad, at least I didn't lose outright this time. Heck Akina, this silly track doesn't seem to be doing well for me, so today I chose Iro. Surprisingly managed to overtake Andy, and I think the spectators got rather noisy when I overtook...haha...

OK so defended myself, so at least I didn't drop a spot. Next up was Hypez, I didn't wanna really play too serious with him, afterall, we're team mates. So its Iro again, but I didn't over take this time. So he countered on Happo, being rather friendly, and we made a deal to use evo4s...haha...unexpectely won him. So wow... i climb one spot. But then Polar stopped me...he's just too quick..so there's my game for Saturday...the best I had so far for this ladder...haha..

Didn't stay long at Atrium after the ladder, had to go for Metta's birthday at Singapore Chinese Recreation Club, some small club house along Balestier Road, with some of my NUS bowling friends. Happy Birthday Metta!! Quite a nice dinner, I liked the mee goreng and cocktail dessert. After dinner played a round of mahjong with some of the guys, and well, I was the biggest loser...haha...but lucky only $1.20...the most even game I've ever played...no clear winner or loser. Ling Ying later told me also she read my blog some time ago....wahhhh not bad....people are actually curious enough to read my blog! I should put more effort into it!

Anyway I went to Bugis to find the rest of the Initial D players. I asked Ryo how come he never reply my sms, he seemed a bit flustered, said he replied already. Guess M1 a little laggy tonite. Haha sorry bro, didn't mean to upset u! I played a few rounds, broke a few personal records, then SJ suggested we go drink milo godzilla. Good suggestion, since we haven't been there for quite a while. I jokingly asked Hypez to come along. Didn't expect him to say yes since he stays at Serangoon, and I wasn't gonna drive him all the way home! But he said nevermind, he didn't mind taking a cab back.

So off we went to Bukit Timah's Al Ahzaar, 5 of us in all, including Ryo and Mutu. 5 cups of godzilla and 2 maggi gorengs. Business was awfully good, we literally grabbed our own table, and the godzillas took nearly 30 mins to arrive, later than the maggi gorengs...sheesh. But Hypez really enjoyed the godzilla, even smiling to himself as he drank it! Crazy bugger...he ordered another one after that. Told him better to drink more water later, or else sure to get sore throat...haha

About 2am we decided to go off, Hypez took a cab, $15, not too bad. I sent Ryo, SJ and Mutu home. Windows down again for tonight's ride. It wasn't hot, and at times like these I wish I drove a convertible...hahaha.. Ryo told me he enjoyed driving with windows down and music being played (not exactly being blasted). Haha...never thought someone would also enjoy doing this. Usually they would complain that it's too hot and say they prefer the air con. Either that or they don't enjoy the music I listen to. We didn't talk much on the way back, just listening to music. Good old dancey music, stuff by Milli Vinilli (YES!! SUPER OLD!! from my sec sch days!) and Steps. A change from the usual techno and trance.

Well so here I am, at 3 plus in the morning (again) writing my blog. Gonna sleep soon I guess. Dunno wad's up tomorrow, but I think everything will be just fine...haha...dunno why I say that too.

Yeah its done!

Phew finally...my com's back up and working in normal condition now. Next task would be to organise the stuff in my laptop, but perhaps somewhere next week. Need to clear up stuff that I've been putting aside these few days.

Had a rather free first half of the day. Then my brother told me to send some bowling equipment to Bukit Panjang, so it was off to BPP, with a whole load of bowling shoes in my car.

Went to meet Ryo after that and we went down to Atrium, where we met Aegis and some other guys.

Didn't play long before we went for dinner, and then went to PS. But again not before long, we went with Shini to HMV to buy his shoes. As usual, I also bought some stuff, a pair of socks this time.

We intended to go coffee bean after that at Takashimaya, but they were closed for renovation. So it was another nice long walk back to atrium...haha...good thing the weather was cool. Not bad lah had a a good chat with all the people around. Think 9 of us in total, Weinian, Jonathan, Ryo, SJ, Shini, Budong, Alex, Esplanade and myself. We thought of going to Starbucks at atrium, but ended up going to Baker's Inn. My suggestion...hahaha... ate my New York cheesecake again. Jonathan ordered one too, couldn't tahan seeing me finish one off myself.

Most of them left at 11+, before the last bus and train, while SJ, Ryo and myself went to 7-11 to buy some stuff to eat. Then just sat around outside 7-11, eating and talking. Saw some policemen running around, and a few others walking by now and then. Dunno why always see so many around here at night. Maybe one fine day might see Shini or Wayzik too...hahaha...

Gave a lift to both SJ and Ryo, but this time we drove with the windows down. Quite a cool night, so it wasn't hot, and played the CD I burned earlier that day, some rather old but nice to listen to dance songs.

My feet were a little tired from all that walking when I got home, so had a quick dinner (yes another one), then went upstairs and plopped myself in front of the com again...haha...yes...its working well now!

In the blink of an eye, its Saturday again. So fast. Time really flies quick when you're enjoying it. And once again, time to catch some sleep soon. haha)... if you do feel guilty reading that phrase, do some self-examination, the answer will stare at you so visibly, that it might be painful.

Went to see my doctor this morning after waking up, because of some chest pains a few days back. He couldn't give me a definite diagnosis, but said it was nothing that serious. Probably some musculo-skeletal problem (dunno if I got that right), just told me to visit him again should any thing more serious crop up.

Then went about with my usual business, running around doing my errands. Funny I'm always happy doing things on my own. But when I'm alone and doing nothing, I miss my friends terribly. So to all my close friends out there, thanks for being my friends, people who I can think about when I feel alone, and know eventually that I am never alone :)

When I got home, I started transferring files out of my computer, 'cos I'll be reformatting my hard disk soon. Not exactly reformatting, but I bought a higher capacity hard disk the other day, and I'll be performing the swap soon. Troublesome process, since my computer is not very new, and have to perform lots of updates and all that. Need to do them in the correct order, or the com will get screwy again.

In the evening I went out with my buddy Ryo to help him with his school work and do some stuff (as promised, I cannot say what we went to do :P) Helped him out with a bit of logarithms and applied mechanics. Poor thing looked so confused! haha dun worry bro, you'll get the hang of it. For a moment after I helped him out, I got a little tempted to start pulling out my old notes and tutorials and going through the whole bunch again...haha...no no...must control...I don't have that much time!

Got home and logged in to MSN and IRC, and the first thing I see in IRC was Hypez and Shini quarrelling. I won't comment about Shini, but Hypez is awfully frank with his words. The truth hurts, but sometimes that's good for us. Heck about the egos, sometimes people need to have their gigantic ego bubble burst. Too much hiding from the truth and you'll just be a softee. Anyway I shouldn't say too much in here. If there's any issue, I think its best to settle with the affected parties face to face, not behind a computer screen.

OK that's it for today I guess. Should be sleeping soon, need to be up and about in campus early tomorrow.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://worldofz.blogspot.com/2004/07/you-asked-for-my-help-you-asked-for-my.html' title='You asked for my help, you asked for my advice. Gonna have a hair cut, and might be having high tea with some friends. Need to spend $$$ again....

Fun and games...on a Friday night

Wow its 5am now, just finished a phone conference with Mutu, Ryo, Hypez, and Shiro. I must have kena chopped or something like that...$80 for just a normal cleaning. I'm sure it was $45 the last time. What's so special about this visit? The only thing different was that there was a flat screen TV mounted on the ceiling this time, for the patient's viewing, and the movie being shown was Miss Congeniality. Surely that extra didn't deserve $35??

Anyway following that I went to the Sony Gallery as Wisma Atrium. Got this e-mail that day advertising Sony's soon-to-be release PC, supposed to be the smallest in the world. I saw it there, this 5-inch screen gadget with a portable folding keyboard. Didn't really impress me, I think its trying too hard to squeeze a PC into the size of a blown up PDA. For one, there are no built-in drives, and they don't provide external drives (I think), so how the hell are you supposed to transfer data easily unless u blow your budget by buying some other external devices? I still prefer my XDAII =P

But they did have another notebook, with a 10-inch wide screen, not bad looking, quite nice, but I don't really like white notebooks, kinda feminine. Prefer black or some metallic silver color.

Its not sunny today, but still freaking hot and humid. Either it was expressed in the blogs, or in mIRC. Shini's tired, Hypez is also tired (surprisingly), Ryo, tired in some other way, and some others. And now I find myself listening to Le Couple again. Not bad, relaxing on the mind. Oh this reminds me, I think I won't be putting any music on my blog. Not that I know how to do it now, but I don't intend to. Cos I realized that whoever reads my blog might be listening to their own music, and my music would interfere with their music and....hmmm...spoil the whole mood...hahahaha

But anyway today was...hmmm.... not too productive, but not bad either. After settling my work in the late morning, I went to JP with Ryo, Despo, Mutu and his friend (no prizes for guessing what I did there).

In the evening I gave a lift to SJ, Mutu, Ryo to Clementi Funland to meet ZL. Haha funny all of them were hoping hard not to meet one guy. Eventually when he did turn up, all of them left shortly after. A little mean lah, but then, you would really need to be very patient to deal with that guy.

Brought ZL to NUS to do help him with his revision. Reminds me so much of myself studying for exam. Going back to school at night. Searching for studying areas. Settling down to study. Getting pissed when some noisy foreign students walk by and talk noisily (hey not being racist here ok?). Honestly, I MISSED THOSE DAYS. Lonely nights alone in school with my books. The thrill of finishing up chapter after chapter, doing questions, and the satisfaction of knowing that I still know my stuff. Yeah those of you who hate school and swear at all your teachers and homework will probably think I'm crazy. Well you have your kicks, and I have mine, so we'll leave it at that.

Before dropping ZL off at the MRT, we went for a short supper near Fong Seng, not the prata stall, but the nearby duck noodle stall. Haven't eaten there for more than a year. Used to go there rather often on Sunday evenings after playing Counterstrike with Henry, An Thai and Keemin.

Came home to my usual routine, chatting in IRC, MSN, checking e-mails and forums. Nothing much unusual, except for this thread that was started by a girl in www.wholivesnearyou.com. Apparently, she was pissed off by a guy who was treating this webbie as an online-dating website, and started the thread to shame all such similar guys by making public their chee-honging attempts...haha....so all guys beware!!

OK that's your bedtime story for today =P Budget Jap food, but nice lah, haven't eaten there for awhile. Judas came along after lunch, and we came to my home. Didn't know what they wanna do, but Judas ended up playing IDSS, and Ryo tested out his wireless connection in my room...haha...played a few bo liao MSN games :P

After they went back to NP, I went to Clementi FL, not bad, no one playing...haha...broke 2 personal records. Thought of playing more, but better not lah, save up for tomorrow.

Waited for ZL, said he needed help for his D&T, but in the end he didn't come, apparently something cropped up in school.

Went home after that, still early, they sky wasn't dark yet, though it looked like it might rain. Couldn't decide whether to wash my car or not, but in the end didn't wash it anyway...haha...maybe tomorrow morning? Good chance to go for a run too...but then...lazy...HAIIIIZZZ...haha...hopeless right?

After that I thought of clearing up my room a bit, but in the end had a headache and so went to sleep until 10pm (hopeless x100)

So a rather uneventful day. Gonna check on my forums and other funny websites now. Nite all :)

Long awaited moment of the night

Yep I'm back, at 1 plus in the morning, doing one late night entry... quite a nice mood tonight for blogging..haha... just 2 lamps on, plus a candle flickering, and some slow japanese music by Le Couple. Can't remember which serial used one of their songs for their theme, but its nice anyway, think I'll put some of the songs in my handphone...can listen to them when I'm bored. Hey I don't always listen to techno and eurobeat ya know?

Bowling in the league at Victor's Superbowl just now this evening was...hmm...quite kanchiong. Tough opponent tonite, above average bowlers and super-sandbaggers (haha hopefully they don't see this!). After the second game, my team only had 2 points while the oppponents were happily enjoying themselves with 8 already. Fortunately, very fortunately, we managed to pluck out another 8 points in the last game, brought ourselves to a draw with out opponent. Luckily we did that...otherwise sure tio scolding from captain (Ah Lian...u see this dun laff hor...no need to :P)

Oh yeah speaking of bowling, volunteered myself to help out at the bowling booth during next week's matriculation fair. Haha....can u believe it?
Went to campus first to get some admin work settled for tutoring work this semester. Yep, gonna be giving tutorials again, and having to wake up at 8am on most week days (sian 1/2). But not bad lah, the extra income is good. Still got lots of people also asking me if I interested in giving JC and secondary tuition. But I kinda wanna break from giving tuition this sem. Dunno why...

Then went down to Sim Lim Square, wanted to get myself a 256MB SD card and a new case for my HP, but as usual bought other stuff as well...quite poor again...but happy lah...haha...dun wanna say what else I bought :P

Following that went to meet ZL, help him scout around for his D & T project. I think he got more confused after going around today. As with all projects, got so much DIYing to do, so think its quite a headache for him. Haha ZL...dun worry...you'll get the hang of it.

Come home liao...then see Ryo online. He so fed up that he was the last to know that Sad left NY3OC... haha...poor thing. Cheer up bro...sure can find a solution for this problem.

Think that's enuff for now...going Marina South to bowl later. Come back home later then write summore, unless I'm too carried away playing wif my new toys from Sim Lim...hahaha...

My blog is born

Wow, I've finally set up my blog. Actually I thought about doing it long long time ago, but I was a bit skeptical about sharing my life and thoughts with strangers on the internet. Oh well anyway what harm can a bit of sharing do? Not too much I hope.

I guess this blog kinda looks ordinary since I just chose one of the default templates. Wait until I bother to learn up some HTML then I'll try and toy around with the looks of my blog. Hopefully I don't screw it up.

Just got back from Malaysia about 30 mins ago, went there to visit my grandfather who's very ill right now. I didn't think the visit would be worth much, but other than seeing my grandfather, who's still quite ok, I saw my uncle's car too...I couldn't believe it... a white Nissan Fairlady 300ZX!! And he bought it for RM60,000, so dead cheap.

Think that's enuff for my first post, see my mood later, might put up another one...
